College once again celebrating a pass rate in excess of 98%

This year, College students are once again celebrating a pass rate at A level in excess of 98%, across nearly 60 subjects. Mr Jarvis said, ‘The track record of success at this College, maintained for well over a decade, is due to a magnificent teaching and support staff, working with talented youngsters who enjoy their studies. We are committed to developing the full potential of all our students – Farnborough Sixth provides a rich environment in which to flourish.’

Among the College students celebrating results this August was Holly Clothier who distinguished herself by achieving A* grades in five of her A level subjects, a remarkable feat matched by Charlie Bishop, Ben Crompton, Vanja Joshi, Katherine Robinson and Emma Silvester. Thirteen fellow students recorded A* grades in four subjects; in all, almost a third of grades awarded to College students this year were either at grade A* or A.

Mr Jarvis, said, ‘These students have demonstrated extraordinary ability and resilience to achieve these results; they would be exceptional in any year. They and their teachers are justifiably proud of their success.’
