Students celebrate in style

On Friday 29th June 2012 nearly 1100 leavers celebrated the end of their time at the College at Lakeside in Frimley Green. It was a fantastic evening and there was a great atmosphere at the event with students packing the dance floor, enjoying the casino (pretend money only!), getting their group photos done in the studio, and being amazed by a spectacular fireworks display over the lake.

On stage the event began with our own outgoing SA Events Officer Jazz Rihal with two DJ sets and the current Performing Arts Officer and winner of The Sixth Factor competition Indeera Shankla who sang superbly.

It was then time for Russell Kelaart the outgoing SA President to make a farewell speech before the Principal and several other staff took to the stage with the legendary ‘Vice Squad’ to make their 10th appearance at Leavers’ Ball.

Following the fireworks display the headline acts, Rickie and Melvin of Kiss Radio and the Cut Up Boys from Ministry of Sound entertained the huge crowd with their sets before the leavers headed home to reflect on a great ball and a brilliant two years at The Sixth Form College.

We have a small amount of lost property from the ball at College – contact Student Services Reception if you think you have lost something.
