Remembrance Day poppy world record

50 students and staff are sleeping out on Wednesday 9th November in order to raise funds for 'Step by Step', a local charity supporting homeless young people in our area.
We will be collecting during Open Evenings and all participants will be asking for sponsors. Please give generously.
The date for this year's Remembrance day ,11/11/11, makes it unique, so we are marking it by attempting to break the Guinness World Record for "The World's Largest Human Flower".
This is a collaborative project and we will be welcoming representatives from the local Gurkha and Logistics regiments, Royal Military Police, Surrey Police and Rushmoor Council officials into College.
Both staff and students are invited to take part; all you need in order to participate is to wear your poppy with pride!
Members of the SA will be selling poppies on the day so don't panic if you have not purchased yours yet. Keep an eye on the update screens in the serveries for more information.
