William Bagnall was elected Chair of the Corporation to 30 September 2005, succeeding Bryony Abbott who is relocating from the Farnborough area.
John Bailey was appointed as Student Governor to 31 March 2003, and William Bagnall, Derek Stroud, Peter Eyre and Jeremy Raisman were reappointed as Business Governors to 30 September 2006.
David Dallison was appointed as the Independent Member of the Audit Committee.
The 2002/2003 Corporate Calendar containing the pattern of Corporation and Committee meetings was approved.
The Corporation endorsed its provisional budget for 2002/03 HCC Audit Services and Bentley Jennison were reappointed as internal and external auditors for 2002/03.
A College risk management policy was adopted.
A new methodology for setting Retention and Achievement targets was endorsed.
The Corporation welcomed the College’s selection as one of only four new Beacon Colleges in England.
